Last updated: October 21, 2026
Welcome to the official portal of Talkhawy Meat & Frozen Supplies (registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt). This document sets forth the general Terms and Conditions governing all commercial and institutional business-to-business (B2B) supply transactions between Talkhawy and its corporate clientele, including hotels, restaurant chains, catering corporations, institutional facilities, and commercial kitchens.
Please read these Terms and Conditions thoroughly prior to issuing Purchase Orders, requesting Request for Quotations (RFQs), or utilizing this website.
1. Definitions & Scope of Agreement
Throughout these Terms and Conditions, capitalized terms and phrases shall bear the meanings defined below unless the context clearly requires otherwise:
- Company / Supplier: Talkhawy Meat & Frozen Supplies, a registered commercial entity authorized under Egyptian law to process, pack, and distribute meat, poultry, and frozen provisions.
- Client / Facility: Any corporate entity, commercial hospitality business, hotel, resort, restaurant franchise, cafe chain, hospital, or institutional caterer transacting with or issuing purchase orders to the Company.
- Products / Goods: Fresh Egyptian local beef and veal, premium imported frozen and chilled beef cuts, customized commercial processed meat items (minced meat, burger patties, sausages), frozen poultry, and commercial culinary provisions.
- Purchase Order (PO): The authorized document or formal procurement request transmitted by the Client via official channels (email, authorized supply WhatsApp desk, or signed contract) detailing specifications, quantities, weights, delivery location, and scheduling.
- Delivery Note & E-Invoice: The legal document signed upon receiving the goods, accompanied by the certified electronic tax invoice issued via the Egyptian Tax Authority portal.
- Website: The official digital portal used to browse product catalogs, request custom supply quotes, and communicate with our procurement desk.
These Terms and Conditions govern all supply agreements, regular standing orders, and ad-hoc shipments executed across the Arab Republic of Egypt.
2. Food Safety & Official Veterinary Compliance
Talkhawy operates in rigorous compliance with all regulatory mandates established by official Egyptian authorities:
- National Food Safety Authority (NFSA): All products, processing techniques, and storage practices fully adhere to Law No. 1 of 2017 and its executive regulations.
- Fresh Local Beef: All cattle and calves are slaughtered exclusively inside officially approved government abattoirs under the direct, round-the-clock supervision of General Organization for Veterinary Services (GOVS) veterinarians. Every carcass bears official veterinary inspection stamps verifying species, age class, and health clearance.
- Imported Chilled & Frozen Meat: Certified 100% Halal slaughtered by accredited international Islamic centers in origin nations, validated with official certificates of origin, import clearances, and laboratory testing approvals issued by Egyptian Veterinary Quarantine and Ministry of Health laboratories.
- Hospitality-Grade Processing: Minced meat, burger formulations, and sausages are prepared strictly in accordance with Egyptian Standard Specifications (ES) and agreed client fat-to-lean ratios, completely free from prohibited additives or chemical coloring agents.
3. Cold Chain Integrity & Delivery Logistics
Maintaining an unbroken cold chain is the foundational standard of our supply operations:
- Thermal-Controlled Fleet: Shipments are transported solely in specialized refrigerated and freezer trucks equipped with continuous thermal insulation and automated cooling systems.
- Standard Receiving Temperatures:
- Chilled & Fresh Meat: Internal product temperature maintained between 0°C and 4°C throughout transport and upon arrival.
- Frozen Products: Core product temperature maintained at -18°C or colder, with zero tolerance for partial thawing, crystallization, or temperature abuse.
- Delivery Points & Schedules:
- Delivery takes place strictly at the Client’s designated receiving dock or food receiving bay indicated on the Purchase Order.
- Deliveries are executed according to scheduled early-morning time slots to ensure kitchen readiness before daily hospitality service begins.
4. Receiving Bay Inspection & Perishable Goods Return Policy
Pursuant to Article (17) of Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its Executive Regulations, and recognizing that meat and frozen items are perishable goods highly sensitive to ambient storage conditions:
A. Immediate On-Site Inspection
- The Client is obligated to designate authorized personnel (receiving chef, quality assurance officer, or receiving storekeeper) to attend the delivery upon arrival of the vehicle.
- The shipment must be inspected immediately in the presence of the Company driver and delivery representative, including:
- Verification of core product temperatures using a calibrated temperature probe.
- Scale verification of net weights against the delivery manifest.
- Sensory and physical evaluation of color, odor, texture, packaging integrity, and official veterinary stamps.
B. Immediate On-Site Rejection
- The Client holds the right to immediately reject any specific cut or item that does not conform to agreed specifications or falls outside mandatory temperature limits while the delivery vehicle is present and before signing the final receiving note.
- The exact reason for rejection must be documented in writing on the delivery note. The Company will either dispatch an urgent replacement or issue an immediate credit adjustment on the e-invoice.
C. Finality of Acceptance Post-Departure (No Returns)
- No returns, exchanges, or claims will be accepted once the receiving note is signed and the delivery vehicle departs the Client facility.
- This policy is strictly enforced to protect public health and food safety, as the Company cannot monitor or verify cold chain maintenance, refrigeration reliability, or contamination hazards once products enter third-party facilities.
5. Purchase Orders, Quotations & Minimum Quantities
- Quotation Validity: Due to fluctuations in livestock markets, feed costs, and currency benchmarks, formal price quotations (RFQs) remain valid only for the timeframe explicitly specified on the quotation sheet.
- Binding Purchase Orders: Once accepted and confirmed by the Company, purchase orders become legally binding. Orders cannot be canceled or altered unilaterally once slaughtering, custom portioning, or processing has commenced.
- Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ): The Company reserves the right to enforce minimum order thresholds per geographic delivery zone to maintain logistics viability and temperature compliance.
6. Pricing, Egyptian E-Invoicing & Payment Terms
- Currency: All transactions, quotes, and billing statements are denominated in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
- Egyptian E-Invoicing Compliance:
- The Company issues compliant electronic tax invoices through the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) e-invoice platform for every transaction.
- The Client must provide valid corporate tax registration details (Tax Card number, Commercial Register, and legal address) prior to first delivery.
- Payment Terms:
- New Clients & Ad-Hoc Deliveries: Cash on Delivery (COD) or verified electronic bank transfer prior to or at unloading.
- Contracted Hospitality Chains & Long-Term Clients: Structured commercial credit terms subject to executed annual supply agreements and guaranteed by validated payment instruments.
- Late Payment: Any delay in settlement beyond agreed credit terms entitles the Company to immediately suspend active supply schedules and claim legal interest and damages under Egyptian Commercial Law.
7. Client Operational Obligations
To preserve delivery efficiency and food safety, the Client agrees to:
- Maintain an accessible, unobstructed receiving bay suited for commercial refrigerated vehicles.
- Ensure receiving personnel are readily available at the scheduled delivery window to avoid unloading delays that risk thermal exposure.
- Transfer accepted meat and poultry immediately into properly calibrated walk-in freezers or chillers upon handover.
8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling contractual obligations when caused by events beyond reasonable human control, including natural disasters, governmental decrees, border closures, import restrictions, extreme climate events, or port customs shutdowns. The affected party must promptly notify the other in writing and take all reasonable steps to mitigate impact.
9. Intellectual Property & Commercial Confidentiality
- Intellectual Property: The trade name “Talkhawy Meat & Frozen Supplies,” brand logos, catalog designs, imagery, and digital content published on this website are the exclusive property of the Company and protected under Egyptian and international intellectual property laws. Reproduction without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
- Commercial Confidentiality: Both parties agree to preserve strict confidentiality regarding negotiated price schedules, customized formulation specs, and commercial terms, refraining from disclosure to any third party.
10. Governing Law & Judicial Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including Egyptian Commercial Code No. 17 of 1999, Food Safety Law No. 1 of 2017, and Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
